Sorata Boarding Kennels is a family run business which has been at it's present location in Essex since 1984. Joan Pagan, the owner has been in the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breed for over 30 years and in particular helping the Welfare and Rescue organization for 25 years.

Sorata Boarding Kennel and Cattery offers comfortable and secure accommodation for your pet, ensuring a worry free holiday for the discerning pet lover.

Set in a quiet Essex location covering 4 acres the boarding kennels and cattery will provide the exercise and diet that your pet requires, we are licensed by Chelmsford Borough Council. We have vast experience of boarding pets with medical conditions requiring special attention, such as administering injections for diabetics, medication on a regular daily basis, feeding and tablets at set times of the day and evening .

Inspection is invited at any time during business hours.


Small animals such as Birds can be boarded.

Sorata Kennels also has facilities for boarding ALL small animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters or birds, we also enjoy boarding the extra large breeds of dog.

We are a Pedigree Chum Collection Point for Breeders.
